Monitor all your Route53 domains
What is Route53 Domains Monitor?
This is a meta monitor which runs daily, looks for new domains in your AWS account's Route53 service, and creates WHOIS monitors for them.
Adding a Route53 Domains Monitor
- Goto the Monitors Area by selecting it from the left sidebar
- Click on the Add Monitor button to get to the Add Monitor screen
- Select Route53 Domains as the Monitor Type

Create a new AWS IAM user for Pinger Man with the permissions specified below. Specify your AWS access key and secret Key. Follow the official guide of AWS to enable API access.
Make sure to provide the following IAM permissions for all your domains:-
- route53domains:ListDomains
Do not provide any other permission to the user. We only need the ability to list your domains - Let the Interval be 24 hours
- Give the monitor a Name
- Click on Add
Parameters
A Route53 Domains Monitor takes the following parameters:-
- AWS Access Key: The API access key for the IAM User.
- AWS Secret Key: This API secret key for the IAM User.
Route53 Domains monitors are one of our cheaper low frequency monitors and run at a fixed rate of once every 24 hours.
Other Pinger Man monitors can have a configurable interval starting from a frequency of 10 seconds for the Business plan.
