Is SSL Monitoring free?

You can monitor up to 3 certificates for free.

What is SSL Monitor?

SSL Monitor is an online service that allows you to monitor the expiry dates of SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificates. We send you email notifications before the certificates expire, with customizable options on when to notify you before expiration.

Why use a SSL monitoring service?

A SSL monitoring solution is essential to prevent loss of business. Expired certificates on your web servers prevent users from accessing your websites.

How to set up SSL expiration monitoring?

Add a Pinger Man SSL check for monitoring your certificate. Pinger Man checks the expiration date of your SSL certificates every 24 hours and sends you a reminder 30 days (configurable) before the expiry date. The monitor is marked as down.

When you renew the SSL certificate, the expiry date exceeds the 30-day reminder period. The next time Pinger Man checks your certificate status, it will see a new expiration date. The monitor comes Up, and Pinger Man sends a notification to your email address.
