Advanced Alerts

Three new parameters have been added to Alerts.

  • Alert after - To send alert only after a certain number of checks have failed
  • Repeat alert - A fixed number of times the alerts are sent if the downtime persists
  • Repeat interval - The delay between repeated alerts in case of a persistent downtime

These settings tackle the following use cases:-

  • Ignoring Minor Downtime
  • Escalate Downtime Events
  • Persistent Alerts
