AWS Trust Relationship Integration via Role ARN and External ID

Connecting your AWS account to Pinger Man is now simpler and more secure than ever. We’ve added full support for AWS trust relationship integration using Role ARN and External ID , allowing you to establish cross-account access without storing long-term credentials.

With this update, you can:

  • Link your AWS account securely through IAM Role delegation.
  • Use Role ARN to grant Pinger Man limited, temporary access for specific operations.
  • Provide an External ID to ensure that only your integration can assume the role — a best practice recommended by AWS for enhanced security.

This new method eliminates the need for permanent access keys and aligns with AWS’s modern security standards for third-party integrations.
